About the client

The client is a large compliance Learning Management Company in the USA. They provide trainings in the space of licensure and compliance training for professionals in the mortgage, banking, credit union, insurance and gaming industries. As an approved education provider by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System & Registry (NMLS), the client offers the industry’s most comprehensive mortgage training solution, with course approvals for all 50 states and U.S. territories.

The Challenge

InspectIT was a legacy Home Inspection platform with native mobile applications for iOS, Android and Java based backend services and portal. The client needed to salvage the application whose active user count was spiraling down due to the large volume of crashes and lack of newer features being demanded by the user community.

The report development environment had challenges with absence of ETL processes to create data stores for the requirements

Key challenges faced by the client were:

  • Keeping the app fresh with predictability in app releases and feature updates
  • Providing stable releases of the mobile apps which will not crash during critical moments of its usage
  • Structured delivery of features and fixes to the application
  • Driving up the user adoption rates
  • Minimum In-house expertise and documentation with the client

Our Solution

CoreFlex engaged with the client in setting up a comprehensive DevOps process to sustain the application delivery. The digital team analyzed the project code, artifacts, crash logs, product backlogs and issues reported by end-users.

  • Transition the project to CoreFlex
  • Develop a strategy to stabilize the mobile app, gain user confidence and drive up the user adoption
  • Conduct Root-Cause Analysis and apply Permanent fixes
  • Implement a comprehensive DevOps process for predictable delivery of fixes and updates
