Android app to monitor sales representatives performance
The client is a division of a large global beverage company dedicated to investing in their bottling operations around the world. The company provides leadership to drive growth in critical markets, provides venture capital to move quickly, and overcome structural or ownership challenges.
The client’s current footprint exists in 19 countries in South East and South West Asia and parts of Africa.
The customer was looking to optimize the performance of its sales representatives and supervisors. The performance of the sales representatives was dependent on various KPIs leading to business growth. While the sales representatives had a mobile app to update their status of sales in their daily visits to supermarkets, supervisors had no means to track the performance of sales representatives. They had worked on developing an application a previous vendor but which was not implemented successfully.
The client company has a presence in 19 countries which it calls markets. These markets had their own IT infrastructure and source systems. The solution needed to cater to the unique requirements and technology stack of each market.
The CoreFlex team analysed the client landscape, business goals and user requirements to develop an Android based native mobile application backed by Azure Cloud for supervisors. The solution had an Azure serverless middleware which did the data integrations to the source systems of different markets.
